Cute Halloween Costumes for Babies and Toddlers
Halloween is right around the corner and your child is probably just as excited as you are about getting a cute costume for the occasion. Babies and toddlers almost look cute in any costume so whether you find one at the store or are able to hand-make one on your own, it should be a hit! Here are a few cute ideas for your child’s Halloween costumes:
Maggie Simpson (from the "Simpsons" TV show)
This is my favorite costume of all time! Can you see why? This little one is wearing a Zipadee-Zip! Combined with a cute spiky hat and pacifier, it's a perfect Maggie look-alive. I love it!
Cupcake
Let us state the obvious: kids love cake! Not only do they love enjoying the sweet dessert, but just the sight of a birthday cake, cupcake, or similar treat usually sends children into an excitement fit. Try creating a cupcake costume by decorating and dressing up a laundry basket with the bottom cut out. Also, a long, skinny hat can be crafted to resemble a candle poking out the top of the cupcake.
Buzz Lightyear
Buzz Lightyear is one of the toys from the “Toy Story” franchise of movies. He isn’t just a regular toy however; Buzz Lightyear is one of the two lead characters in the movie series and is a self-proclaimed space ranger hero! An astronaut suit with wings and a ton of cool gadgets will keep a smile of your kid’s face all day and night.
Little Red Riding Hood
This Halloween costume will not only turn your child into a cute little fairytale character, but it’s also very easy to put together. The combination of a patterned dress, a red, hooded cape, and a picnic basket makes for a super lovable child’s costume.
Fairy
A fairy costume is certainly one that children love to wear. Every aspect of this costume fits perfectly to the interests of a kid. The ability to wear a fluffy, sparkling tutu, a pair of fairy wings, and to carry a magic wand will leave your child with a very memorable Halloween.
Winnie the Pooh
Winnie the Pooh, also known as Pooh Bear, is a classic Disney character that dates back as far as 1926! Winnie the Pooh is the original teddy bear that came to life, and is a perfect Halloween costume for kids. What kid wouldn’t want to dress up as a cute, cuddly Pooh Bear!

The motto for Sleeping Baby, makers of the Zipadee-Zip, is: "Inspiring Dreams One Night at A time," and that, in a nutshell, is how it all started…with one little dream that has since become the Parker family's reality. When Brett and Stephanie Parker's daughter, Charlotte, was born, the feeling that welled up inside of them was indescribable; they never realized until first looking into those baby blues of hers that they were even capable of that kind of love.
When it was time to transition baby from swaddling, the Parkers tried every sleep sack on the market and every swaddle weaning trick they could find for nearly two weeks and nothing worked to get baby Charlotte to fall and stay asleep.
Stephanie became determined to restore sleep and sanity to their household and set out to find a solution that would soothe Charlotte's startle reflex and provide her the cozy womb-like environment she loved so much but still give her the freedom to roll over and wiggle around in her crib safely. Out of sheer desperation and exhaustion, the Zipadee-Zip was born. The first Zipadee-Zip(R) Stephanie put together on her little sewing machine worked like magic!
To date tens of thousands of Zipadee-Zips have been sold and all from word-of-mouth marketing. It is so rewarding for the Parkers to see other parents and babies getting the sleep they both need and deserve!
